Aimed specifically at managers, our Neurodiversity Awareness for Managers Training provides a detailed understanding of neurodivergence and practical strategies to support neurodivergent team members. You will learn how to adapt expectations, communication, and ways of working, as well as how to implement reasonable adjustments, with real examples. The course also covers effective performance management for neurodiverse employees.
Through this training, you will gain the knowledge and skills to confidently and effectively support and manage neurodiverse employees, while also creating an inclusive and inclusive workplace.
Content Includes:
โ What IS neurodivergence and introduction to appropriate language
โ Introduction to neurodivergent conditions, and the lived experience/reality vs perception: Autism, ADHD & Dyslexia
โ Challenges neurodivergent people often face at work
โ Supporting neurodivergent colleagues: Adapting โ expectations, communication, ways of working, environment
โ Introduction to reasonable adjustments: Example adjustments & Think Together framework to discuss potential adjustments
โ Managing performance & having discussions: Supportive discussions & managing performance
The training will take place on MS Teams and the link will be sent out a few days before. CPD Certificates will be provided after the session.
