Micaela Maringa
Content Manager

Micaela is an experienced content writer who holds a Psychological Science BSc from Monash University. She enjoys contributing to mental health awareness by creating engaging, research-backed content that helps organisations understand and prioritise mental wellbeing.
Micaela is motivated by her genuine passion for dismantling the global stigma that surrounds mental differences.
In her spare time, Micaela enjoys travelling to sunny places, experimenting with her skincare routine, learning French, listening to Spanish music, and participating in alternative dance classes. She also loves reading thought-provoking thrillers that challenge perspectives and keep her guessing.
– Addiction & mental health copywriter – simplified complex scientific research into clear, accessible copy for mental health services.
– Health and wellness content writer – created written content for the wellness industry
– Volunteer research assistant – transcribed and proofread psychology-related research interviews.
– Teaching assistant for children under the age of 8 years old – supporting those with learning difficulties.
Micaela first understood the impact of ignoring mental health when she was diagnosed with depression in her younger years. Without proper recognition or support, she found herself struggling until a later diagnosis of Adult ADHD reshaped the way she approached work and life.
Rather than seeing these challenges as obstacles, she chose to deepen her understanding, both of herself and of others, who often feel misunderstood. She believes in working with differences rather than against them, and embracing what makes each person unique.
Her experiences, along with those of her family members with autism, have only strengthened her commitment to making sure every story is heard and validated.
