Hayley is a qualified Associate Psychological Practitioner with over 10 years' professional experience. She holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Manchester, and a PGDip as an Associate Psychological Practitioner from the University of Central Lancashire. She is a registered counselling psychologist and a CPD accredited trainer. She prides herself on her ever-expanding psychological knowledge and specialises in workplace wellbeing. As well as ample professional experience, Hayley has a wealth of personal experience: she was an inpatient herself on a psychiatric ward for 16 months as a teenager with anorexia and depression, where she was detained under the Mental Health Act. She also cared for a parent with addiction and mental health difficulties alongside work and studying. Hayley has severe combined ADHD and has a deep passion for helping others to not only understand neurodivergence, but admire the many positives and strengths that come with it. Her own ADHD means sessions with her are nothing short of an experience — she relies on humour, music and wild, wonderful activities to communicate complex psychological principles in a way that helps you to GET it, and remember it. She is extremely passionate and enthusiastic about equipping people with the tools to change their own lives, and finds it nothing short of a privilege to do so.
